MnCUN Board Election Results Announced

Brian Sherrick, Chair, MnCUN Board Election Committee and President and CEO of Ideal Credit Union has announced the results of the 2021 Board Elections.

The following candidacy declarations were received for the four seats up for election in 2021:
At-Large Category

• Mary Hansen (incumbent)
• Tom Smith (incumbent)

10,000 or Fewer Members Category

• Julia Havens (incumbent)
• Debora Almirall (appointed incumbent) (1-year term)

Four declarations were received from the incumbents listed above; one for each open seat.

Pursuant to Article IV, Section 2(b) of the Bylaws of the Minnesota Credit Union Network, since only one person was nominated for each seat to be filled, no ballots will be distributed and board candidates and the board candidates Mary Hansen, Tom Smith, Julia Havens and Debora Almirall are each elected by general consent or acclamation.

The chair may declare this at the annual business meeting on April 23, 2021.
